  1. Estimates, Invoicing, and Payments
  • Free Estimates: We may offer complimentary consultations and estimates within our service area. Additional travel or inspection charges may apply for complex assessments.
  • Proposal Validity: All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted.
  • Deposit Requirements: Projects may require an upfront deposit (typically 25-50%) to secure scheduling and materials.
  • Final Payment: Due upon completion of work and customer approval unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, checks, credit/debit cards, and direct bank transfers.
  • Late Payments: Outstanding balances beyond 15 days may incur a late fee of 2% monthly or $25 minimum, whichever is greater.
  1. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Delays
  • Customer-Initiated Changes: Customers must notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment without penalty.
  • Late Cancellations or No-Shows: May result in a fee equal to 10% of the estimated project total.
  • Company-Initiated Rescheduling: We reserve the right to postpone work due to weather conditions, material delays, or safety issues. We will communicate changes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Project Delays:  A&S Pro Electrical is not responsible for delays caused by utility companies, permit offices, manufacturer backorders, or client inaction.
  1. Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and materials.

  • Workmanship Warranty: All installations and repairs are covered by a 12-month limited labor warranty from the completion date.
  • Manufacturer Warranties: Equipment or materials are subject to their original manufacturer warranty policies.
  • Warranty Exclusions Include:
    • Damage caused by weather events, natural disasters, or power surges
    • Tampering or modification by third parties
    • Improper use or overloading of electrical systems
    • Customer-provided equipment

Customers must report any issues within the warranty period for prompt resolution. Inspections are scheduled as needed to assess valid claims.

  1. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure safety and timely service delivery, customers must:

  • Provide clear access to all work areas.
  • Notify us of known hazards (e.g., asbestos, pest infestations, mold).
  • Secure pets and children during service times.
  • Refrain from interfering with tools, electrical panels, or the work area.
  • Communicate any concerns or dissatisfaction promptly for resolution.

Failure to uphold these responsibilities may lead to project delays, rescheduling, or additional fees.

  1. Health, Safety, and Compliance

We adhere to OSHA safety regulations and all applicable building and electrical codes. Our team is trained and certified in safety procedures.

  • On-Site Safety: Customers must not enter restricted work zones while work is ongoing.
  • Code Compliance: All work is done according to the latest NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local Virginia regulations.
  • Permits: When applicable, we will obtain necessary electrical permits before beginning the work.

We maintain general liability insurance to protect clients and property in the rare event of an accident.

  1. Limitation of Liability

A&S Pro Electrical will not be held liable for:

  • Losses or damages caused by third-party contractors, utility providers, or unrelated service interruptions.
  • Electrical failures resulting from external circumstances like natural disasters or customer misuse.
  • Personal injury or property damage due to unauthorized system access or tampering by the client or others.

Our liability is limited strictly to the cost of the specific services performed and does not cover consequential or incidental damages.
